We advise you to read the Terms and Conditions as they answer many of the questions that you may have relating to your wedding package.
- Confirmation of a booking
A booking is confirmed once the Wedding Application has been paid and the deposit of 300 euros has been paid into the designated bank account. Bookings made by email will be held for 21 days, pending payment.
- Confirmation of time of wedding
The time of your wedding will be confirmed by the relevant municipality in January of the year you marry. We will do our utmost to secure the time of your choice.
- Deposits
Some of our suppliers require deposits to hold the date. This will be stated at the time of booking.
- Full payment
The full balance is required not less than 6 weeks before the wedding. If payment is not received in full we reserve the right to cancel any services.
- Wedding documentation
Details regarding your wedding documentation will be sent to you separately. It is your responsibility to follow the guidelines issued by BK Creative Weddings.Wedding documentation must be correct and in Greece no later than 1 month before the date of the ceremony.
- Health and medical conditions
If you are in doubt about your health prior to travel we strongly recommend you seek medical advice otherwise your ability to travel or your insurance may be affected. You must advise us in writing, if there is any medical problem or disability which may affect your wedding or our ability to provide our normal service.
- Special dietary requirements
If you, or one of your guests has a special request (such as dietary), please make the request as soon as you know. We will do our utmost to tailor a menu suitable for them. This menu may however differ significantly from the main wedding menu.
- Registering the wedding
Both bride and groom must be present at the registering of the wedding to ensure that the details registered are correct for both parties. This process will take place within 4 working days of the date of the wedding itself. It is your responsibility to remain on the island of Crete in order for this process to take place.
- Changes by us to your wedding
Though this is extremely unlikely, because of changing and unpredictable cicrumstances we reserve the right to make alterations where necessary.
- Force Majeure
We regret we cannot accept liability, make any refunds or pay any compensation where our contractual obligations are affected by reason of circumstances amounting to ‘Force Majeure’. ‘Force Majeure’ includes any event where we, the supplier, or any of our service suppliers, could not foresee or forestall such as (by way of example and not by way of limitation) war, threat of war, riot, industrial action/strike, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, acts of God, adverse weather conditions, epidemic and all similar events out of our control.
- Your Contract
A binding contract between us comes into existence when we send our confirmation letter and invoice to you. This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by Greek law. In the event of any dispute between us, this will be dealt with by the courts in Greece.
- Cancellation by you of your wedding
If you wish to cancel or amend any part of your booking you should advise us in writing as soon as possible by email. We will try to accommodate all amendments, extra charges may be incurred and deposits will be lost.
- Behaviour
All guests are expected to show consideration to other guests and show respect for the venue and the staff at the wedding venue. If, in our reasonable opinion any member of your party causes distress or danger to any third party (including other wedding guests) or damage to property we reserve the right to terminate the wedding party. Said guest will be expected to pay for any damage caused.
14) Complaints
We take all complaints very seriously and will deal with them personally. If you have any complaint about your accommodation or our services, then please raise them with us as soon as possible. In reality, most complaints can be dealt with quickly and efficiently. If you are still not satisfied, or wish to complain after your holiday, then please write to us by e-mail or letter within 28 days of your holiday. We cannot accept liability in respect of any claims not notified to ourselves in accordance with this clause.
16) Accidental injury, damage or loss
We accept no liability for any accident, personal injury or suffering arising for any reason either within the accommodation, during travel to and from the accommodation, or during activities with ourselves or by you. You are strongly advised to ensure that you are adequately insured both for personal injury and material loss/damage. All guests must accept full responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. This includes the full payment for any such damage or loss which must be made at the time to us or the third party concerned. If you fail to do so, you must indemnify us against any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions. In the case of loss and/or damage to and/or of luggage or personal possessions (including money), our liability is limited to £25 per person as you will be expected to have taken out adequate insurance before
