Jackie and Mat first came out to Crete to look for wedding venues 2 years before they married. Having visited a few different types of venues they set their hearts on a villa wedding, giving them the freedom to arrange their day as they wanted, and use the different areas of the villa for the various aspects of the wedding. They chose a villa in Sissi for their special day, with a sandy area for ceremony, dinner under string lights and a party next to the pool. With traditional Cretan cuisine, including lamb on the BBQ they had a fabulous wedding dinner buffet. Then for dessert, as if a wedding cake wasn’t enough, brownies, donuts and cookies that were to die for!
